Farming is indeed essential. But farmers need other people as well, directly they need vets, machinery manufacturures and retailers, chemicals, fuel, abbatoirs, wholesalers etc, and indirectly schools, hospitals, shops etc, just like the rest of us. We live in an interconnected world. There is no reason why farmers should not pay the same tax as everyone else.
What has to be done is longevity in the protests,the Government just sit knowing we run out of steam and then go home.
How many voted Labour ? Come on, own up.
